Note:
- Recommended Surface: Smooth ceramic tiles backsplash, smooth glass tiles backsplash, acrylic wall panel, pained gypsum, wall linoleum, stainless metal, mirror, laminate, wallpaper.
- Non-Recommended Surface: Oily wall, brick wall, stucco wall, stone wall, unfinished wall (gypsum or plaster), unpainted plywood.
- Please consider 3-5% cutting loss and purchase enough tiles at a time to make sure they come from the same batch to avoid slight color difference.
- Use a level or chalk line to create at least one vertical and one horizontal reference lines to guide tile placement.
- Reinforce with a laminated roller after installation.
- Recommend to use tile trim and caulk (or glass glue) if contact with water.
- The new painting walls need to dry for 3 weeks, make sure the wall is completely dry and dust-free.
- For rough surfaces and heavy textured walls, please follow the instruction:
- Sand the surface with sanding paper or spackling paste
- Clean the wall with damp cloth
- Wait unitl the wall is totally dry
- Spray the adhesive more on the joint area on both wall and tiles
Step 1: Prepare the Surface
Clean the wall thoroughly using a strong degreaser like TSP (Tri-Sodium Phosphate). A smooth, dry surface is essential for proper adhesion.
Tip: If the wall is freshly painted, wait at least three weeks before applying the tiles.
Step 2: Plan and Cut
Use a pencil and ruler to outline the layout on the wall. For precise cuts, use a box cutter and a metal ruler with a cork backing.
Step 3: Peel and Stick
Peel back a portion of the protective backing (avoid touching the adhesive to prevent contamination with dust or oils). Align the tile with your guide, press lightly to position it, then remove the rest of the backing and press firmly into place using a plastic smoother. Focus on the grout lines and concave areas for the best adhesion.
Tip: Full bonding typically completes within 48 hours. After 24 hours, press the grout lines again with a plastic smoother for optimal adhesion.
Step 4: Finish and Enjoy
Repeat the process to complete your wall for a flawless, seamless finish!

- Unpainted plywood
Note:
If the surface is not ideal or you’re unsure about adhesion, we recommend using 3M Purpose 45 Spray Adhesive to achieve the best possible bond.
